Andy Simon is Interim Executive Director of the Buccino Leadership Institute at Seton Hall University, where he also serves as a Full Professor and the Leadership & Professional Development Fellow. His background includes years as a senior education facilitator inside executive development programs at the Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania's Non-Profit Leadership Program. In those roles, he worked directly with senior leaders on decision making and organizational performance. He later served as President of the International Council of Psychologists. He holds two doctorates in social and organizational psychology from Rutgers University.

Andy focuses on how leaders and teams function under real conditions. That includes how decisions get made, the impact of influence and authority inside an organization, and what happens to judgment and execution when pressure goes up or disruption hits. He works with individuals, teams and whole organizations, often in the same engagement.

Andy's consulting has put him inside businesses, government agencies, healthcare systems, schools and nonprofits. His projects have included leadership development in the financial sector, strategic planning with one of Uganda's largest child-focused NGOs and a course on critical and creative thinking built for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He has designed and led leadership summits, created and delivered custom programs on team performance, and published on topics ranging from leadership judgment to how groups function and read one another. Whether he is advising a senior team or supporting one deep inside an organization, the work comes down to helping people think and act clearly so performance matches potential.
