About Me

Andy Simon’s advisory and consulting experience spans business, government, education, and the non-profit sector. He has held senior positions in executive education programs at the Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania's Non-Profit Leadership Program. He also co-designed and delivered a course on Critical and Creative Thinking for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Among Andy’s international work, he led in developing a strategic plan for Uganda's largest child-focused NGO and served as President of the International Council of Psychologists.

Andy’s work has also extended to the domain of sports. He has taught Sport Psychology and served as sport psychology advisor to the VBRags Volleyball Academy, where his expertise in optimizing performance supported both athletes and coaches.

Presently, Andy is the Interim Executive Director of the Buccino Leadership Institute at Seton Hall University, where he is also Professor of Psychology and the Leadership & Professional Development Fellow. His teaching portfolio includes virtual courses on Approaches to Contemporary Leadership and Leading Groups & Teams. His course, Leading Organizations, has been translated into Portuguese and is offered through the Institute de Psicologia Aplicada in Brazil. He has adapted and customized his courses for corporate leadership teams.

Andy has a PhD in Social Psychology and a PsyD in Organizational Psychology from Rutgers University. He lives in New Jersey.
